Talk:Stony Brook, New York
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
EB says
unincorporated village in Brookhaven town (township), Suffolk county, southeastern New York, U.S. Located on the northern shore of Long Island, on Stony Brook Harbor, it was settled by Boston colonists in 1655. In the 19th century the shipbuilding industry flourished there. --JimWae 04:37, 2004 Dec 11 (UTC)
EB is wrong. There are no "unincorporated villages" in N.Y. The best we can do is to call it a hamlet. Village is misleading and plain wrong. Nelson Ricardo 05:02, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)
Stan Lee? No idea, cite it please? Zipmcoccup 22:45, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
