[edit] Article status

I've done bits and bobs on this article over the last year or so. It's now referenced very well, so good job everyone. It's been updated recently and split into subheadings for each group Gossard has been involved in, which I like. I'm a little unsure that so much information on Pearl Jam's history is needed as Pearl Jam is a featured article, and we're just repeating things here. What do people think? Kristmace (talk) 12:19, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

I think there needed to be some more information added as to what he's done with Pearl Jam, so that's why I added that. But, I tried to maked it as general as possible, just sticking to the details and leaving the vast majority of the band's information to their own page. I'm glad you like what's been done with the rest of the article.-5- (talk) 14:23, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, good job -5-, especially with referencing. What do you think needs doing in the future to move this towards being a featured article? Kristmace (talk) 12:55, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd actually like to get all of the Pearl Jam members to featured article status. I'll just wait and see what others add to this article and study up on other biographies that are at featured article status.-5- (talk) 13:53, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

I've read and re-read the quality scale, and believe this article is at least at B-class article so I've raised the class. I don't think it's far from being a good article candidate. Kristmace (talk) 16:17, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Update needed

This article is sorely in need of some indepth coverage by a big Pearl Jam fan. Stone deserves better. --BradPatrick 15:14, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Additions and corrections made

I've had a good bash at the article (This is my first one), so it should be looking more spruced up now. Kristmace 00:12, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Kristmace

I've referenced the article better, and made some additions - especially in the prose. Kristmace 23:27, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Birthdate

My research has his birthdate as 20 July 1965, not 1966. Anyone care to discuss?

-- Search Google, it's listed as 1966 everywhere I've seen, including many PJ related sites.143.52.5.182 12:45, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mic Neumann

An addition was made referring to Stones work with Mic Neumann. I personally have never heard of Mic Neumann, or of any involvement he may have had with Stone Gossard. I could find no evidence for this from research either. I also don't know why such involvement would be significant enough to include here. It has consequently been removed. This article was automatically assessed because at least one article was rated and this bot brought all the other ratings up to at least that level. BetacommandBot 04:41, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sections and paragraphs

This article has been re-structured. I think that the other projects section which includes info on Brad, Bayleaf and Mirrorball should be under its own heading as it breaks the whole article up better. Y/N? Kristmace (talk) 15:39, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
