[edit] POV edits
I've reverted the POV additions again. Please, if you feel that they belong here, give reasons for that choice. --Kickstart70 00:34, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- No, I think you're in the right there. To me, that was, without a question, POV. --Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 04:22, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
the latest edition is simply not a POV; rather, they are facts that show how the increase in density is negatively affecting the steveston community.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.20.79.235 (talk • contribs)
- Please sign your posts. I've reverted it, because the writing of this issue was POV. I agree with the sentiment; the density is negatively impacting Steveston, in my opinion...however, Wikipedia operates on the principles of WP:NPOV and WP:Verifiability. My opinions, and yours, do not matter. --Kickstart70-T-C 14:58, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] image?
I was thinking of uploading this image from the VPL website. Do you like it, or is it too blurry? -- TheMightyQuill 19:49, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- It is a bit, plus the copyright notice on the bottom of the page doesn't help the legality of posting it. --Kickstart70-T-C 20:11, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- It says that on all images on the VPL site, but {{PD-Canada}} applies if it was created before 1949. -- TheMightyQuill 20:34, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough...do we have a date for that photograph? --Kickstart70-T-C 20:47, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

- 1900s. Go to the Search and type cannery.
[edit] Location
The lede locates Steveston with respect to Finn Slough. Finn Slough is a much smaller community that is really not at all easy to find unless you know it well. Steveston is larger & far easier to find. If anything, Finn Slough's location would be found with respect to Steveston, rather than v-v. It's like finding the Earth by finding the moon first. The Finn Slough article is also much shorter & has no images. Do we have an editor from Finn Slough here? --JimWae 06:52, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
