SSS in young children is apparently called Ritter's Disease. And also there is no inflammation or WBC invasion.

The stub before I edited it read:

"Symptoms

The symptoms somewhat mimic advanced arthritis and disorders of the nervous system, and can include severe and constant pain, loss of motor functions (such as severe stuttering when speaking) clinical depression and insomnia." ??????????

This is absolute garbage! If you cannot give the correct info, at least, do not mislead! The author of this stub has either no clue as to what SSSS presents with or he has mixed up two stubs he was authoring together!
