He formed his own record label, Steam, in the mid-seventies, as the major label which held the rights to the original Under Milk Woods album had allowed it to fall out of print and he also used the outlet to issue recordings of a number of commissioned suites over the next decade. These included The Salisbury Suite (1978), The Crompton Suite (1981) and The Poets Suite (1984).

Am bit worried abt the punctuation of "The Poets Suite" (sic). Does anyone have access to original? Regs. --Technopat 11:29, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
