Stapeley

Stapeley is a hamlet (at SJ 675 496) and civil parish in the Crewe and Nantwich district of Cheshire, England. The hamlet lies 2¼ miles to the south east of Nantwich. The parish also includes the settlements of Broad Lane, Butt Green and parts of Artle Brook, Haymoor Green and Howbeck Bank,[1] as well as Stapeley Water Gardens at Butt Green. Nearby villages include Shavington, Willaston and Wybunbury. The A51 runs north–south through the parish, and the A529 and A500 roads run along its western and northern boundaries, respectively.

According to the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 1048.[2]
