To those users trying to whitewash the history of this industrial school, cut it out. I'm a Christian Brothers alumnus (with lots of involvement within the associated Edmund Rice Network) who has nothing but respect for the Congregation - but the past has to be acknowledged for what it was, and I know that plenty of Brothers agree with me. And in reference to Wikipedia policies, it's both notable and encyclopaedic. In fact, it's the only reason why this particular school is notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia.
