Sreepur is located at 24.2000° N 90.4667° E . It has 65435 units of house hold and total area 465.24 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Sreepur has a population of 320530. Males constitute are 51.13% of the population, and females 48.87%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 166988. Sreepur has an average literacy rate of 30.3% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
