Springmead Preparatory School is an independent, co-educational, preparatory school and nursery, catering for children aged 2 to 11 years. The school is situated in the village of Beckington, Somerset near Frome on the Wiltshire, Bath border.
It was founded in 2002 by the current Co-Principals: Madeleine and Stephen Taylor. The Nursery admits children age 2 - 4, the Pre-prep has Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children and the Prep has children in Year 3 to Year 6. There are currently in excess of 100 pupils at the school.
