[edit] College sports on Sports USA

Sports USA broadcasts at least one major college football game every Saturday during the college football season. Through its affiliation with the Big 12 Conference, Sports USA is the official radio home of the conference's championship game.

Five college bowl games are also broadcast by Sports USA: the Las Vegas Bowl, the Independence Bowl, the Sun Bowl, the Insight Bowl, and the Capital One Bowl.

In addition to college football, Sports USA also carries the Big 12 conference tournament in basketball.

Sports USA touts itself as an "official partner" of CSTV.

[edit] The NFL on Sports USA

Through an affiliation with the Jones Radio Network Sports USA brings a doubleheader slate of NFL games to the radio public, one of two radio networks to do this (Westwood One being the other).

The major difference between Westwood One's coverage and Sports USA's coverage is that Sports USA does not have the rights to any postseason games, or any other games that do not air on Sunday afternoon. (Neither network covers preseason games, except for Westwood One's coverage of the Hall of Fame Game.) Also, the NFL does not seem to readily acknowledge Sports USA as an official broadcast partner as it does Westwood One.

[edit] Announcers

Sports USA has a large list of announcers for its football coverage. Among its more notable staff are Howard David (formerly of Westwood One), Josh Lewin (of the San Diego Chargers), and Eli Gold (from the Alabama Crimson Tide, better known nationwide for his work on NASCAR).

Tony Graziani, still active as a quarterback in the Arena Football League, serves as an analyst on the network during the AFL offseason.
