Hi. I'm Luís Teles Morais, and this is where I basically state what the hell am I doing here, and why.
[edit] Me, the Wikipedian
For long I have used Wikipedia in my research, and for not so long I have contributed and edited on various subjects anonymously. Since I started to do this increasingly often, I finally decided to become a Wikipedia registered user.
I don't really feel ready yet to create a full-blown, large-sized article (still need more experience) so the only articles I have created were stubs. Hopefully I'll soon enough manage to produce an article I can be proud of. Apart from this, I have also edited a number of articles, some minor edits, some major.
The subject I feel more comfortable writing about is football or soccer, especially around Portugal, since it is something which can still be very much improved in the English-language Wikipedia, and fortunately my knowledge on the subject may actually be useful for the Wikipedia. Otherwise, am I also interested in various other matters, ranging from computing and video games to animals.
I can write flawlessly in English and Portuguese, and I'm also fairly acquainted with French and Castilian, although I will not be editing in the latter since the knowledge I have of this language comes almost entirely from the fact that it is mutually intelligible with my native one.
I appreciate the Wikipedia project because of its freedom. Here, you are free to learn and to share your own knowledge with others with no restrictions. Even financially, it is free. I believe Wikipedia was what the World Wide Web was initially meant to be - a place where people can exchange ideas and knowledge freely.

As I have mentioned before, my name is Luís Teles Morais. I am 13 years old, and I have lived in Portugal all of my life. I am currently starting my 9th grade in a Portuguese school, although I studied in English curriculum schools since I was an asshole at 3 and until circa a year ago (mainly St. Julian's School), having become completely fluent in English in the process.
