Solero is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km east of Turin and about 8 km west of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,661 and an area of 22.7 km².[1] Birthplace of P. Gallinotti, classic guitar and lute master builder, very appreciated from the most famous guitar players of the world such as Segovia.
Solero borders the following municipalities: Alessandria, Felizzano, Oviglio, and Quargnento.
