[edit] Spore?

I wonder if the upcoming Maxis/EA release Spore would fall under this genre? There is currently an ongoing debate on Spore's talk page about the genre classification of Spore, but perhaps the emergence of this new article would help resolve the debate, if it does accurately describe the game.
