Socx is a village and commune in the Nord département of northern France. The population as of 1999 was 980.

Socx is around 10 km south of Dunkirk. Its area is 8 km².

The current mayor is Christian Ley (term of office: 2008-2014). The mayor up to March 2008 was Charles Vandaele.
