Smart Gaming refers to a form of interactive video game gameplay, usually pertaining to Massively Multiplayer Online Games, where players are required to use a high-level of strategic thinking,[1] real-world business skills[2] and methodologies to succeed in the game.

CCP Games have used the term in reference to the elevated level of gaming seen in players of the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game EVE Online.[3]
