User talk:SlimVirgin/intro

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Minor edit from "as of May" to "in May" should stand because "as of" imples SlimVirgin currently holds rank 36th, which is not true. Still something to be proud of, obviously!84.65.202.138 (talk)

Correction: it implies it is the most recent data point. Apologies. 84.65.202.138 (talk)

Crum375's charges of vandalism (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:84.65.202.138&redirect=no) in this case appear misplaced. Please could they point out the relevant section of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Vandalism#Types_of_vandalism. 84.65.202.138 (talk)

If the person who "owns" the userspace objects to your edits, and the edits are not to remove WP:USER violating material, you shouldn't be reverting him/her. Will (talk) 00:21, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your clarification. However, it doesn't actually constitute vandalism does it? Additionaly WP:USER states: In general, if you have material that you do not wish for others to edit, or that is otherwise inappropriate for Wikipedia, it should be placed on a personal web site, which implies to me that a user should be happy in principle with others editing their page. Finally, what evidence is there to conclude that SlimVirgin was not happy with my edit (a helpful one in my view)? 84.65.202.138 (talk)
This revert by her against you. By the way, my statement is common sense; you are free to edit any page including userspace, but if the person whose user space your editing reverts you, it should be taken as a request not to edit it further. (It's not vandalism either, though, I agree) Will (talk) 00:57, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
