I'm trying to figure out what the Ojibwe source for this would be. Wiisaakode-madaa(bii?) ? --Miskwito 10:45, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

My guess: Skode-mdaabii-ziibi (syncoped from iskode-madaabii-ziibi), where the <shk> was also reduced to <sk>, which would make the translation instead as "river where the fire goes to the shore"... but that's just my guess. CJLippert 01:54, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
