Sinhalese Sports Club Ground

The Sinhalese Sports Club is the home of Sri Lanka cricket housing the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) as well as being an important ground for major domestic and international matches. The first One Day International was played on February 13, 1982 between Sri Lanka and England and the first Test match at the ground took place on March 16, 1984 between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. As of 17 August 2005 Sri Lanka has played 26 Test matches at the SCC winning 13 and losing 6 and has played 32 One Day Internationals at the ground winning 19 and losing 10. Capacity is 10,000.
