Green Park Stadium is a 45,000 capacity floodlit multi-use stadium located in Kanpur, India, and the home of the Uttar Pradesh cricket team. It is the only international cricket stadium in Uttar Pradesh which has witnessed many international cricket matches of both of its dominant formats.
The ends are known as the Mill Pavilion End and the Hostel End. It hosted India-Pakistan ODI 11 November 2007. and one more Test match will be hosted in 2008.
It was formerly known as Modi Stadium and is the central ground for the cricket team of Uttar Pradesh.In 2007 the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Board announced that it would build its own cricket ground because Green Park belongs to U.P. government.
