[edit] Black Triangle Image Removed
I took the images down. That isn't the website where it came from, but if it's going to cause problems then I'll remove it. I got those images from Google Images origianlly which I heard was public domain. If the admins from Whyfiles are gonna cry about them being used on Wikipedia then they should cry to Google as well. They even have images on their own site that are everywhere on the net, exp the Phoenix Lights videoimage which from a Phoenix TV newscast and the Ans Belgium photo which has appeared in the press and on televison documentaries. Whyfiles is full of crap about sole ownership of these and probably everything else on their site. SkeezerPumba 02:19, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Apparently the people at the whinefiles.com aren't satistfied. They posted there again saying the images WERE (past tense) taken from their site, even after I removed them. I emailed the owner of the page and asked what the problem is, if in fact it is they who are doing this. It may be someone posing as them, not sure. We'll see. SkeezerPumba 21:23, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I talked to the owner of the site. He not only wanted the images removed but now he says some of the text I put there was taken from his site as well, which it wasn't, but I am negotiating a compromise for all this with him. - Wikipedia was recently a subject of intensive research of an huge international human right organization. A team of people from different nationalities and ages were acting on Wikipedia for 20 days, investigating previously noted anomalities of Wikipedia free editing and forming a final report, which (between the others similar reports) will later be a guide to all future moves of the organization concerning Wikipedia. Acting under an account of a real person, their privacy is to be held private. Therefore, very few private information will be revealed.

Hi, Simonfairfax. I hope you won't mind too much, but I've removed your practical joke notice again because, while it was pretty good the first time round, this is now an old joke which has lost nearly all of its charm and now serves primarily as an annoyance. While users are given most of the say over what goes on their user page and it is generally considered poor etiquette for others to edit them without asking, all aspects of Wikipedia rely on good faith and many users believe that this sort of thing (which technically amounts to misrepresenting the user interface) hinders productive editing and (if encountered often enough) causes bad feeling. I therefore respectfully ask that you don't reinstate the new message template and find other venues for practical joking. Sorry if this seems like a stuffy attitude, but at the end of the day we're here to build an encyclopaedia and user pages are only intended to facilitate that.
