Simon Wells

Simon Wells (born 1961) is the great grandson of H.G. Wells. He is best known for directing the 2002 remake of The Time Machine. He also directed An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, Balto, The Prince of Egypt and the film adaptation of We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. He is currently slated to direct the upcoming Stand by Love, and also the animated version of Disney's Captain EO with Phil Nibbelink.
He is nominated for the 34th Annual Annie Awards "Storyboarding in an Animated Feature Production" for his boarding of Flushed Away.
