[edit] Do not delete/explanation of notability

Excerpt from Wikipedia's guidelines for notability of internet content: "The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself. This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper and magazine articles, books, television documentaries, and published reports by consumer watchdog organizations."

Sick Animation has been featured in several magazine articles as evidenced here. The website has also been mentioned on Howard Stern's radio show and one of the cartoons from the site is being spun off into a series on Comedy Central which will be elaborated on under the "Related projects" section.

Furthermore, the website has a very large fanbase and has inspired several other artists. However, these facts are superfluous to the ones stated above which qualify the article subject as notable and not a candidate for deletion. Trojanpony 22:40, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

-Also, don't delete the clam section, I really think we could put some useful content in there from the sickanimation.com website as well as the fan community

[edit] Abandoned article?

How come there are empty sections in this article and yet it is not labeled a stub?

[edit] Sick Animation CD

There is a Sick Animation CD released; I noticed it in places other than the SA website; those other websites could be considered as "an independent opinion" (ex, ytmnd.com - accessed 12 Sep 2007 - website was under maintenace and "in the meanwhile" they "definetely" recommended this CD). I agree an SA article is worthwhile to exist here, but the current article needs a lot of fixing in order to be acceptable in the future. MarekTT 12:49, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Last Name

Hmm... Someone Added the last name, McDanielson. Though this is probably not normally the sort of thing that needs a citation, I think there should be one. This is due to the fact that he seems to want it to remain unknown (It is blacked in one of the pics on his myspace page) P337 19:48, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
