Sick Animation

Sick Animation is an entertainment website created, produced, and maintained by Louisiana-based artist "Marc M." best known for its Flash cartoons. The cartoons, as well as much of the other content on the site, feature light-hearted references to culturally taboo subjects like genitalia, racism, homosexuality, scatology, and pedophilia. The often absurd references juxtaposed with frequently anatopistic animation give Sick Animation its distinctive style. Sick Animation has been featured in several magazines, including The Hollywood Reporter and Filmmaker Magazine.[1][2] In February 2006, Comedy Central commissioned Marc M. to create a pilot for a series based on the cartoon "Secret League of Legionnaires".[3]

Marc M. draws comic strips containing black humor and satire with an ambiguous statement.

Marc M. creates Flash cartoon animations which reflect the style and content of his comics and random doodles.

Marc M. creates songs that match the style of his animations. He uses such verses as

"My name is Malcolm X and I came to have sex So hit me on my cell with a nasty text I’m like a vampire bitch when I’m biting your neck Let my dick get hard as the blood collects You better wet that pussy cause I’m fucking you next."

Marc M. of Sick Animation uses a general recurring theme in most of his work, i.e. male genitalia and homosexuality. Another recurring theme of Marc's work is early '90s TV such as Saved By the Bell, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Duck Tales, etc.

Since July 2004, Marc M. has maintained a Sick Animation Myspace page. This served as basically the only forum for communication among SA fans until the creation of the Sick Animation forums in October 2006. Marc also plans to host blogs on the site in the near future.
