This article is in the category of "Assassinated diplomats"; as it reveals, Mr. Argov survived the attempt, and thus cannot be listed as "assassinated".
Ambassador Argov languished for 20 years in hospital and never recovered from the attack in London. Although technically he was not assassinated on June 3, 1982 the wounds he suffered were grevious and in retrospect his death in 2003 was an assassination.
