Dates are different from the version in the Chinese wikipedia.--Confuzion 01:55, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

There is some uncertainty about the year he was born or died. However "1642-1707" is a common figure I find. The Hong Kong Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum, and China onsite list him as 1642-1707. However at Chinapage they prefer the version used in Chinese wikipedia. Other sources I've seen just admit uncertainty and indicate he was born after 1638 and died before 1720.--T.
