[edit] Park status

Does anyone from the area know what the current status is, regarding turning the property into a public park? I saw this news from April of last year, and then there was this from last August, but I can't find anything more recent (and unfortunately, I'm halfway across the country right now). Anything happening these days? →smably 01:07, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
