[edit] Neutrality
This sounds like an avertisement written by Sharebuilder.--71.75.113.51 12:22, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- I agree; I'll add the appropriate tag. CheerfulPaul 12:53, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- I am an employee of ING DIRECT (the company that owns ShareBuilder Securities Corporation). I would like to submit some edits to be considered for this page and wanted to declare my intentions, so here I am. What format would be the best to use and how would I submit my edits without actually editing the page? If best, I can make my edits in a .TXT file using Wiki Markup, but I don't know how to send my edits to be considered. Any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks! [edit] Possible ways to make this a good article
Welcome to an advertisement page!
This could probably be completely rewritten as a good article if someone would:
- Write an actual description of how the company operates, describing headquarters, well-known aspects of the business model, etc.
- Compare / contrast this service (from NPOV) with other online brokerages offering automatic investing
- Cite both positive AND negative reviews
- Cross reference this with pages describing the investment philosophy behind their marketing
- Acknowledge (!) the competition and how this company is dealing with them [the good, the bad, and the ugly]
- Don't just give a list of endorsements and the standard features/benefits pitch —Preceding unsigned comment added by CheerfulPaul (talk • contribs) 12:55, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sharebuilder logo.JPG
Image:Sharebuilder logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:40, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "unique" feature
According to [[1]], several other brokerages offer some form of automatic investing, although they might be for mutual funds. 69.12.143.197 06:58, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
