Wikipedians in Asia may be able to help!

Shan kingdom is somewhat of a misnomer since power was usually divided among many small principalities.

But Wikipedia is in dire need of a Shan or Tai history page.

I think I will create a page named Tai History to start.

Geoff Wade's Online Ming Shi-lu is a particularly good collection of Chinese historical sources for Tai or Shan history. (Jonfernquest 10:53, 14 July 2006 (UTC))
