Shahindej

Shahindej or shahindezh (old name Sayin dezh ) is a city in West Azarbaijan Province, northwestern Iran, with a population of 34,204 according to the 2006 census [1], southeast of Lake Urmia about 1,300 metres above sea level.

The population of Shahindej is Kurdish and Azeri and chahardovly.[2][3]
