Talk:Shōko Nakagawa

[edit] Difficulty finding factual information
The article seems like it has been written by the subject's representative or manager. No neutral information is easily decipherable. Phrases like "she is called multiple talented" should be replaced by "She is called multiple talented by some" or "by her fans" to assure neutrality and a better truth.
Lines like.... "Later, on the Yume-Ga-Oka Residence programme on SKY PerfecTV!, she was given a Jackie Chan photobook by Midorikawa Shobō, who were guests on the show. She commented - I thought he was an enemy of Bruce Lee's"
......should be under the section "Trivia", definitely not under the section "Life". Sub40Hz (talk) 05:26, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Most information on here is similar to one in the Japanese Wikipedia. People must've copied and translated it from time to time. Also, she is called multiple talented by media including newspapers, television shows, celebrity sites... well she is multiple talented because she is an actress, voice actor, illustrator, and singer, doing multiple things while a celebrity. --staka (T ・C) 21:32, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Shoko vs. Shiyoko
Earlier this article said Shoko was "born" "Shiyoko Nakagawa," which I assume is a misconception. Shoko is written shi, chiisai yo, u, ko in Japanese, which I understand would lead some people to believe her actual name is Shiyoko, but that's not the case. In the case of shi and a small y-character, they slur together and become something closer to Syo than Shiyo (a flaw with most Romanization, I'd say her name is closer to Syoko). And to transfer this misconception to it being her "birth name" is just silly. There are no 4-mora feminine Japanese names. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.100.218.156 (talk) 15:47, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
