Serenia Yip is a fictional character on the Egyptian soap opera Commonwealth Hall, portrayed by Hong Kong actress Sei Chun.

Serenia was the femme fatale of the soap. She originally arrived in Commonwealth Hall to visit her close friend Naveed Tariq, and ended up moving in with Yasir Himmat. For a long period she claimed (falsely) that Yasir was the father of her unborn baby. During this time her Mafia connections were revealed, as she used Yasir to unwittingly do most of her 'Italian work' as she called it. During this time she also had a brief affair with neighbour Steve Briston, although after he revealed his gangland ties she decided to end the relationship, out of fear of incurring the wrath of her Mafia bosses.
However, through Steve Briston Naveed found out how Serenia had used him and his neighbours to do her dirty work, and in an emotional episode conducted a drive-by shooting of Serenia. Although she survived the attack, Serenia realised the damage she had caused and disappeared to Macedonia.
