Serbian White Eagles (Serbian: Српски Бели Орлови, Srpski Beli Orlovi) are a Serbian soccer team. The team is a member of the Canadian Soccer League, the highest professional soccer league in Canada, playing in the International Division.

The team's home colours are all white, commemorating the white double-headed eagle which appears on the Serbian flag. The Serbian White Eagles play their home games at Centennial Park in Etobicoke, the western portion of the city of Toronto.

[edit] History

The Serbian White Eagles were established in 1968 as an amateur team in the then National Soccer League, where they played until 1980, when the club withdrew from the league, becoming an amateur club in the process. They remained such until February 2006, when they joined the CSL, becoming the most successful expansion club the league's history. The Serbian White Eagles were embraced by the North American Serbian community and have averaged the highest attendance of any team in the CSL. [1].

[edit] Supporters

The Serbian White Eagles' fan association, known as the Ultra Serbs, was formed in 2006, a few months after the Serbian White Eagles became a professional team. The distinguished name of the Ultra Serbs has made it clear from the start that they are representing the Ultras mentality in support of their club. The Ultra Serbs appear in several highly rated videos on YouTube. These videos are largely followed by Serbian soccer fans including Serbs as far as Serbia and throughout the worldwide Serbian diaspora. [2].
