Selim Ben Achour (Arabic: سليم بن عاشور) (born September 8, 1981 in Paris) is a French-born Tunisian footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Kuwaiti team Al Qadisiya Kuwait, having signed an 18 month deal in December 2007 from FC Rubin Kazan in the Russian Premier League. The transfer fee was EUR 1.5 million. Ben Achour previously played in France and Portugal.
He is widely considered one of Tunisia's best players, an elegant playmaker with range of passing and great vision, and played for Tunisia's national squad in the 2002 World Cup.
Sources suggest he turned the chance to play for the France national football team in favour of the tunisia national football team.
