FC Rubin Kazan (Russian: Футбольный клуб Рубин Казань), is a Russian football club, based in the city of Kazan (Tatarstan republic).

Rubin never played in the Soviet Top League. They advanced to the Russian Premier League in 2003, and came third in the league in their debut year, qualifying for the UEFA Cup. Their 2004 campaign was less successful, they came 10th. In 2005 they were competing for UEFA Cup zone again, finished 4th.

Rubin had a successful start in the 2008 season, having performed 7 consecutive wins, including the one in the game with defending champions Zenit Saint Petersburg and thus beating the previous record of 6 wins held by FC Dynamo Moscow. The winning streak ended in the 8th leg when Rubin was beaten 0:3 by FC Spartak Moscow.

The team was also previously called "Iskra" (1958-1964), "Rubin-TAN" (1992-1993).
