[edit] Heavy Metal/Alternative Metal?
I Wouldnt call the album Metalcore i would say just Metal, i think it is too soft to be m,etal core but call it what you like, any way what do people think the next single should be, I say Take It Out On Me :)
From what we've heard (namely Eye of the Storm and Scream, Aim & Fire) this album is not really metalcore at all, more like just heavy metal or perhaps alternative metal. The influence from hardcore just isn't present anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.180.176.39 (talk) 07:51, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- While I'm sure you wouldn't just say this, do you have any resources that I can listen to that would approve of this until further notice?RaikiriChidori 18:42, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

- I think it should be kept the same until we can hear more from the album RPI 22:38, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Why do we have to put any sub genre, can't we just put "Heavy Metal", or "Metal" Mark handscombe (talk) 08:19, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

- Actually, the genre in the infobox should be as general as possible, especially when there's controversy over it. The infobox should probably just contain metal or heavy metal, and someone can write up a section discussing the subgenres and differences from The Poison in musical style, with sources of course. Subgenres in the infobox just aren't encyclopedic, unless they're discussed in the article itself. Timmeh! 02:56, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Single Charts

[edit] Album Cover
Now on the BFMV website, check it out and add it if possible? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.34.133.225 (talk) 13:02, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Album title
I think this album is wrongly named "Scream, Aim, Fire" with commas. The actual title as far as I can gather is "Scream Aim Fire" without the commas. This is also the case for the track with the same name. I've checked the bands homepage, MusicBrainz, last.fm and the bands myspace page, and they all confirm this. I'm not changing the article or anything as I don't know how, but I am making the appropriate changes in the article text. Fenrisulfr talk 22:46, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Done... Ideally someone should rename the article asap Fenrisulfr talk 22:51, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

- From what iv gathered, the album might have the commas in, which is how its referred to here[1] in several places on their myspace and on emails that they sent out, however they are not consistent with it this could be due to laziness or it could be that with the commas was a working title that was created prior to the creation of the artwork which clearly lacks commas. Where did the song lengths come from? Where's the source? Mark handscombe (talk) 18:53, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Album
All tracks apart from the bonus one are now up on bullets myspace. The times given are correct, well near enough. And they ARE metalcore, the albums case genre is metal. But they are NOT heavy metal. Iron Maiden are Heavy Metal, and do they sound like bullet? no. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.104.38.209 (talk) 19:21, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

I think maybe power metal. They do have guitar riffs similar to that of DragonForce and Rhapsody while still mixing their old material. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.129.103.212 (talk) 23:47, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
First of all DragonForce is basically glam vocals with power metal guitars, second of all,I agree, bullet for my valentine aren't really metal, their guitars aren't nearly distorted enough for them to be heavy metal. The best description in my opinion for them is thrash metalcore, because they have the speed and the fast guitar riffs of thrash, but the vocals of metalcore. Also, they're obviously more influenced by Metallica than they are Slayer,i don't know enough about Megadeth and Anthrax to decide whether they're influenced by them or not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.235.187.26 (talk) 00:59, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The singles and which track should be the next single
Well I thought Scream Aim Fire was a great way to promote the album and hearts burst into fire is also a really great song but i think Take It Out On Me should be the next single or End of Days
Pro tip here bud: You don't decide what the next single is, the band and label do. Jfc. PEiP (talk) 23:55, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bonus tracks
Most of the "bonus tracks" are just b-sides found on singles and could never be found as a bonus track on any version of the album. I suggest either removing the b-sides entirely, or give them their own section. Fezmar9 (talk) 16:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
