This sounds like stringhalt in horses. Are they related? --Una Smith 03:43, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- They both can cause overflexion of the joints, and I think they are both considered a peripheral neuropathy, but the cause appears to be different. Also, scotty cramp is inherited, but I don't think that is true of stringhalt. --Joelmills 04:35, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
