Scott Swan

Scott Swan is a screenwriter best known for his work with legendary director John Carpenter on seasons one and two of Masters of Horror. He has been working with his writing partner Drew McWeeny since the two met in high school. Their recent films Cigarette Burns and Pro-Life, both produced as part of the Masters series for Showtime, represent their first produced film work, but the two have been working professionally since 1994, when their plays Sticks & Stones and Broken Bones were first produced in Los Angeles.
Swan and McWeeny are developing a screenplay for the third Mortal Kombat movie, Mortal Kombat: Devastation, with producer Larry Kasanoff, and have recently written Skin and Bones, an episode for the NBC horror/suspense anthology television series Fear Itself (TV series).
Under the pseudonym "Obi-Swan," he contributes occasionally to Ain't It Cool News, the website that McWeeny co-edits.
Swan lives in Los Angeles, CA. with his wife and daughter.
