Scott Lee Sutter (born May 13, 1986) is a footballer from Potters Bar, England who currently plays as defender for Grasshopper-Club Zurich in the Swiss Super League. Scott was born in Enfield, and grew up in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire where his family still live. He attended Chancellor's School in Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire. Scott was a childhood fan of Tottenham Hotspur FC and also cites Juventus' Alessandro Del Piero, Roma's Francesco Totti and LA Galaxy's David Beckham as his favourite players. He moved to Switzerland in 2002 aged 16 to pursue a career in football. After 1 year in the U18s and U21s he was called up to the main squad. his first game came aged 18 against Neuchatel Xamax. Since then he has established himself as a first team regular and has played in over 80 games including Uefa cup qualification and group stages in the last 2 years. Some of the most notable opponents Scott has faced Liverpool FC and Middlesbrough FC of the English Premier League and Sevilla FC of Spain's La Liga. Last season he scored 5 goals and got 6 assists. In 2006 Scott signed a deal with Adidas to promote football attire in Switzerland.

At the start of the 07/08 season Scott sustained a serious injury to his right ankle. He underwent an operation which was successful. He is expected to be playing at the start of 2008.
