Since Scholastica is being introduced as a, it is surprising that a summary of what St Gregory says about her has not been given. Am I the only one who has never been prompted by any riot to remember her? Or, if the riot is historically so significant, should not perhaps the religious bits be left out, just a mention that it happened to erupt on this particular feastday?

[edit] Patron of...?
As a layperson who came to this page looking for some information, I have found that the following sentence is unclear to the reader who is not familiar with the topic (eg, me):
- St. Scholastica is the patron saint of convulsive children, nuns, storms, and against rain.
Is she the patron saint for storms but against rain? It doesn't seem logical.
Is that correct, or should this sentence be rewritten to read "St. Scholastica is the patron saint of convulsive children and nuns, and against rain and storms"? MIP | Talk 11:08, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] story issues
The story of Scholastica and Benedict confuses whether the brother was at his sister's convent, or she at his monastery. And the story needs a citation. --71.62.85.99 (talk) 11:32, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
