Scharnebeck is a municipality in the district of Lüneburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approx. 10 km northeast of Lüneburg. Scharnebeck is known for its twin ship lift, in the Elbe-Seitenkanal.
Scharnebeck is also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Scharnebeck.
