[edit] Distinct article?

At this time, this article is a straight duplicate of material in Sandyford and as such, should it be out here at all? Worth noting, as someone who has worked twice in the Sandyford area, that "Sandyford Industrial Estate" as such is one of at least three adjacent developments which form the terrible mess of warehouse-like office and light industrial facilities, another being Sandyford Business Park, and the third, across the main road, with some other name. 195.96.72.22 05:09, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, as someone who lives in Sandyford, I couldn't agree about the "terrible mess", but I don't have any strong views on the SIE having a separate article; it covers half of the Sandyford area and "the mess" employs 20,000 people. Locally, the adjacent developments have all been long regarded as simply part of the SIE. Also, the "warehouse-like office and light industrial facilities" are turning into to high-rise offices, hotels, apartments, shopping centres (and even a hospital) as quickly as the planners will allow. One of the most interesting areas in Dublin IMO. It's probably becoming big enough to merit a separate article. (Sarah777 21:21, 8 August 2007 (UTC))
