Santa Venerina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 160 km southeast of Palermo and about 20 km northeast of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,148 and an area of 18.8 km².[1]
Santa Venerina borders the following municipalities: Acireale, Giarre, Zafferana Etnea.
