Santa Sofia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Forlì-Cesena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 80 km southeast of Bologna and about 35 km southwest of Forlì. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,223 and an area of 148.5 km².
Santa Sofia borders the following municipalities: Bagno di Romagna, Civitella di Romagna, Galeata, Pratovecchio, Premilcuore, San Godenzo, Sarsina, Stia.
