Santa Anita is a place on the side of the Huitepec mountain to the west of San Cristobal de las Casas, in the Mexican state of Chiapas. In 2006, after dreaming about it a man went to the forest and found a huge rock with an image of Christ. The place has been converted into a target of pilgrims from nearby Chamula and other places, who offer flowers, fruits and candles to the site. A church to be built at the site is in planning stage and awaiting approval by the church authorities.
