The San Diego Riptide is a defunct Arena Football League af2 team. The team played its home games at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California.
The team was originally coached by Cree Morris, then Mouse Davis and then Sean Ponder.
The Riptide, has never officially ceased operations, but has never come back from the hiatus after the 2005 season.
