[edit] Bank shot

Sam Jones is remembered for his bank-shot jumpers from the side.

He was very unhappy, bitter almost, that it took him so long to get into the Hall of Fame compared with his other Celtics teammates - Russell, Cousy, Sharman, Ramsey, etc. He may have felt that there was some discrimination there.
