This shouldn't be a speedy delete, as Saif Ali Khan is indeed a film idol in India. It's true that the article so far has little content, but it could do. If I get time, I'll add some detail; if it then gets a VfD proposal, so be it. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:33, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Opening paragraph: Ta Ra Rum Pum

I could be wrong on this, but wasn't Ta Ra Rum Pum a complete disaster at the box office? If so, then how can it be considered a "commercial success" like Salaam Namaste was? Maybe whoever wrote it was simply confused--or maybe I am instead. --Miss Burkle (talk) 16:42, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Well the total verdict of the film was eventually semi-hit. It was a commercial failure overall and started very slowly, and is even generally considered to be a failure today, but it recovered its costs at the box office and made some additional business, which gave it the total assessment of semi-hit.
Salaam Namaste was one of the biggest hits in India, and additionally surfaced as Bollywood's biggest hit overseas. TRRP didn't manag to do the same, but that's the case. Thanks, best regards, ShahidTalk2me 16:49, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
