[edit] Image
Please update the image for SabayonLinux, it is not v3.2 anymore! --Anonymous —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.87.3.120 (talk) 03:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Updated to Sabayon 3.5 Tautrimas (talk) 12:30, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] BiCapitalisation
I don't think it's spelled Sabayon Linux. I think it's actually spelled SabayonLinux. Should we move the page? Felixwells 13:38, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, doing so now. When its presented in graphic form its broken, but the home page shows it used together in more than one place.--Crossmr 21:28, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- Actually I see both used on their website (and on distrowatch). --MarSch 16:51, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mac Mini
There is no specific build for Mac Mini, at least that I can find on the site. Does anybody have some evidence, or should it be removed? 24.211.230.92 15:05, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Somebody probably got the idea that there's a Mac Mini version from the mini version of SabayonLinux available for x86 and x86_64. I'm fairly certain that there is no Mac Mini version, so I'm removing the part that mentions it. Chickencha 02:42, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- The mini version is refering to a cd image, instead of a dvd image. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.229.164.158 (talk) 22:59, 18 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Sabayon and Gentoo
Isn't Sabayon just an overlay to Gentoo? I mean - I believe that you can install Gentoo and add sabayon overlay and get the same effect as installing Sabayon from DVD. I'm not 100% sure but I strongly believe that Sabayon is a pre-configured Gentoo (Something like Kubuntu, Ubuntu and so on, one system, different packages on start). If I'm not wrong, then it is quite an important thing and should be added to the article. Aaron LoveP 22:03, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What's the point?
Why should you use Sabayon? From the official site I get the impression that you should use it because it looks cool. Is there another reason? 84.59.117.191 21:09, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- It is as configurable as gentoo with easy install and option to use binary packages instead of compiling from source - combines configurability and usability. 89.171.49.148 14:18, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
