s2art, Visual Artist Teacher & Photographer, more commonly known as Stuart Murdoch, was born in 1961, by definition a Baby Boomer. However being at the extreme end of that generation, he is more likely a Generation X'r.

Photography and Art are his passions, he survives though by teaching. His formal training in the arts began with a B.A., from the then Philip Institute of Technology in 1991. He then gained his Graduate Diploma of Education in 1996 from Melbourne University, and a Master of Arts From R.M.I.T, by course work in 2002. He continues to explore photography as a cultural tool using a variety of mediums and approaches. Cameras of choice are varied, he uses anything from digital keychain and mobile phones cameras through to Medium Format and Large Format Film cameras.

He publishes his work using flickr and by more traditional means such as galleries . In March 2007 he had a solo show 2007 solo show"across the river styx" at the Trocadero, in Footscray Melbourne Australia.
