Gaétan-Jean Sébastien Lefebvre Pépin (June 5, 1981) often referred to as Sebastien "Seb" Lefebvre, is a Québécois musician best known as the rhythm guitarist and vocalist in the pop punk band Simple Plan. Lefebvre grew up in Laval, Québec, and used to work as a janitor at his old high school; College Beaubois in Pierrefonds, Quebec.

Lefebvre's surname is properly pronounced, among French speakers, "le-fave", but English speakers generally pronounce it "le-fevra". He has commented on the difference, without pronouncing the French, in his podcasts. On the DVD A Big Package for You, he pronounces it "le-fever" when he introduces himself; however the other band members can be observed smirking as he does so.

[edit] Early Life

Sébastien Lefebvre grew up in Laval, Québec with his parents and three siblings. He is very close to his older brother, Jay Lefebvre. He also has two younger sisters, Andree-Ann and Heloise. Jay is mentioned in the album "Still Not Getting Any..." credits as well as the "Simple Plan" credits and on the Man Of The Hour website and MySpace, where he is thanked for "catering". Sébastien's parents divorced when he was in high school. Both remarried, according to the "Simple Plan" credits where he thanks "My four parents." His mother, Lorraine Pépin, works as a children's psychologist and social worker in East Montréal and his father, Jean-François Lefebvre, works at Human Resources in Central Québec.

[edit] Man Of The Hour

Man Of The Hour is an online radio show that features Sébastien and Simple Plan's webmaster, photographer, and videographer Patrick Langlois. It began as a side band that included himself, Patrick Langlois and Bowling For Soup's leading man, Jaret Reddick. There, they made shirts to promote the band and curiosity of it. Upon discovering the lack of time to devote to the band, it turned into the radio show they have today; "Man of The Hour Hour". Which is hosted on idobi radio. The show can be heard on Thursdays, and can be downloaded as a podcast the following Monday.
